BUILT FOR YOUR NEXT BUSINESS DOCUMENT
Use an estimate when quantities, time, or scope may change. Describe your assumptions in the notes and explain which costs are provisional. The document is labelled Estimate and For review. It does not request payment or confirm that a payment was received.
An estimate outlines expected costs while details are still being settled. A quote sets out a proposed price for a defined scope. State your assumptions and terms clearly, and use the separate quote or invoice page as the project progresses.
For a standard-rated supply, exclusive prices have 5% VAT added. For inclusive prices, VAT is extracted from the amount already entered. For example, AED 100 exclusive becomes AED 105; AED 105 inclusive contains AED 5 VAT. Discounts are allocated across items before VAT, and line amounts are rounded to two decimal places. The FTA tax invoice guidance explains invoice details and rounding.
This UAE tool uses AED only and one VAT treatment for the whole document. Separate zero-rated, exempt, and not-registered options are available. For mixed VAT treatments, reverse charge, or special transactions, use a tool that supports those cases.
This tool creates a PDF business document. It does not submit data to the FTA or provide structured e-invoice exchange. See the FTA e-invoicing overview for information about that system.
Your business profile is shared across these four UAE tools in this browser. Each document type has separate drafts, saved documents, and numbering. They do not sync to another device. Download your PDFs before clearing browser site data.
